Gordon William Plaskett
Son of Gordon Laurence Plaskett Sr and Ethyl Mae Eade. Known as “Nux”. Early years spent on family ranch in Wild Horse Canyon. Graduated from King City High in 1952, attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, then enlisted in the Marines. In 1958 began work as a crop duster in the Salinas Valley, continuing until 1998. Owned and operated Greenbelt Aviation, later managed air division of Soilserv. Restored a TF-51, the only flying dual control Mustang in existence at the time, and trained pilots from all over the world. Loved taking his P-51 Mustang out for a spin.
