Gordon Plaskett, one of Ed and Mabel's sons, died in a plane crash at King City in 1953.

Gordon Plaskett, son of Edward A. Plaskett and Mabel Sans Plaskett, died in a plane crash in King City, California on February 28, 1953. His wife was Ethel Plaskett. Gordon was one of several family members to die in aircraft accidents.
