Alice Isabelle Plaskett Dies of Typhoid at 19
Typhoid took Alice Isabelle Plaskett at nineteen, at home, on an April evening in 1909.
Alice Isabelle Plaskett died Friday, April 2, 1909 at 5:15pm of Typhoid Fever. She was 19 years old, single, and died at home. Her father was Francis Marion Plaskett and her mother was Sena Bell Fuller Plaskett. The next day the Salinas Daily Index had an article entitled “Young Lady of Many Graces of Mind and Character Passes Away.” She was buried in Salinas in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, leaving three sisters and two brothers.
