Charlotte “Lottie” Voss Ferguson Cox was the sister of Margaret “Mother” Krenkel.

FAMILY: Daughter of Carsten and Charlotte Schlicting Voss, born on the family homestead near Pleyto.

FIRST MARRIAGE: Married Charley Ferguson.

SECOND MARRIAGE: After Charley Ferguson’s death, married Frank Cox. “They still live on the old Cox home on the Pleyto road.”

She helped her sister Margaret dig the well on the family ranch “for the first 50 feet” before a professional took over.
