Reason and Robert Plaskett Build St Lukes Church

The Plaskett brothers crossed the mountains to raise St. Luke's at Jolon, stained glass and all, in 1879.

In 1879 St. Lukes Episcopal church was built in Jolon. Reason and Robert Plaskett came out from Pacific Valley on the coast side to build it. The beautiful stained glass windows were sent over from England by Sir Smythe-Piggott, Alice Duttons husband.
