Patricia Abelard Andersen, C.G.R.S. (NGS Member 289-79) of Gaithersburg, Maryland, conducted extensive genealogical research on the Plaskett family, tracing them back to William Plasket of Trenton, N.J. (d. 1748). Her research, shared with Bill Alderson in 2020, documented six Plasket lines in the United States and Canada, some traced back to Cumberland in northern England, others to Portsmouth in the south.
