Manuel Sans Shoots Grizzly from Tree Platform
Manuel Sans waited all night in a tree over a honey bait for the grizzly that came at dawn.
Manuel Sans, brother of Charles Sans, built a platform in a tree and set honey as bait at the base. When a young female grizzly came to the tree one night, Manuel was hiding on the platform. One shotgun blast to the bears neck killed it. The brothers later ate some of the bear meat.
