Jesse H. Plaskett Hit by Car on Highway
Walking back to Salinas in the dark, Jesse Plaskett was struck and killed on the highway.
Jesse H. Plaskett, son of Lionel and Nancy (Summers) Plaskett, was run over by a car between Fort Ord and Salinas on December 10, 1935. He was walking back to Salinas from where he worked at Fort Ord on the edge of the highway when he was hit.
