Asa Jim Mansfield Killed by Runaway Team

A runaway team in Pine Canyon killed Jim Mansfield; his widow Carmen never left the homestead.

Asa Mansfield, nicknamed Jim, married Carmen Madera. He was killed by a runaway team in Pine Canyon. Carmen continued to live on their old homestead on Jolon Road after his death.
