Spruce Creek

A creek in the Santa Lucias above the Big Sur coast, inland of Gorda. Reason Plaskett collected the type specimen of Ribes sericeum — the Santa Lucia Gooseberry — here in December 1897; Alice Eastwood described the species from it.
