Girard Chimney
The stone chimney on the high tableland south of Lime Kiln Canyon — all that remains of Victor Girard's redwood-pole mansion, burned in 1933. Visible from Highway 1 to anyone who knows where to look; the trails up to it have long been overgrown. Position approximate, from Mabel Plaskett's description ('on the very edge of a high table land overlooking the sea on the south of Lime Kiln Canyon') and family knowledge of the site.
