Mrs. Reason A. Plasket

Mrs. Plasket, wife of Reason A. Plasket, died at the family residence on Maple Avenue, Salinas, after a long illness from breast cancer. Born in Ohio in 1853. Married Reason A. Plasket at Youngstown, Ohio, 13 years before death. After marriage they came to California and settled in Salinas. Four years later moved to GORDA, Monterey County (Big Sur area) where they lived until Mr. Plasket brought her to Salinas for medical treatment.

Member of Methodist Episcopal Church - faithful worker until illness prevented. Funeral held at residence of W.L. PLASKETT, No. 245 Maple Avenue, Salinas. Rev. A.H. Needham officiated. Burial at I.O.O.F. cemetery.
