Jim Trickle was a miner who worked the Ocean View, Lilac, and Blackberry claims on Plaskett Ridge alongside Billy Cruikshank and John Bushnell.

According to Mabel Plaskett’s account, Cruikshank, Trickle, and Bushnell were “able, honest hardworking men who knew every phase of mining as that had been their life work.”
